If you are after a tucked away haven in the laneways of the west-end to host your event, with leisurely consumption of tailored drinks, while soaking in the antiquities of times gone by, look no further.

Whether it’s a cosy bar space indoors you’re after, or spilling out to the outdoor deck and great alfresco vibes, Hains & Co has you covered. And it’s good to gin & tonics are included in our basic drinks package!

Exclusive use of the Inside Bar

Bring you crew for a fun afternoon or evening at Hains & Co! We will design a drinks package for you or a minimum spend, including our famous bar snacks, and you will have the inside venue to yourself (minimum numbers required).

Ideal for groups up to 60. Available every day except for Fridays. On weekends, exclusive use is available up until 10pm latest, after which guests are welcome to continue on, understanding that other guests will be using the space.

Exclusive use of Footpath Area

Hains & Co provides the perfect setting for a private soirée in our outside alfresco area. It offers a charming retreat where you can share delectable drinks and great conversations whilst soaking in the laneway vibes under the fairy lights.

Our alfresco foot path area can accommodate up to 50 guests. Available every day except for Fridays, and before 10pm. We can configure 4 large high tables anyway you like, with guests either sitting on stools, or mingling while standing.

Full venue use, for early afternoons

Fancy a lazy lunch or afternoon basking in the sun at Hains & Co? Ideal for large groups starting at lunchtime, or early afternoons.

We can accommodate up to 120 guests, before we open at 4pm, who will have the freedom to wander both inside and outside, enjoying the alfresco laneway vibes or the amber glow of our indoor bar area. Choose between a drinks & nibbles package for a set number of hours or a pre-negotiated tab at the bar. If you want to impress your guests with a bespoke cocktail on arrival or have something special in mind, just let us know!

Private Whisky (or Gin!) 101 Masterclasses

Our Masterclasses sell out fast, and are in demand for a reason. You are welcome to enquire about creating your own special Masterclass for that special occasion, whether its for a birthday, a corporate get-together, or just just for the heck of it! Subject to availability, we can generally accommodate start time of 5-6pm on any given day except for Fridays.
